i moved in the direction he'd pointed. it didnt take long at all for my instincts to take over. i felt a surge when i spotted the human in the shadows below. i followed a little longer then dropped behind him. i didnt give him the chance to turn and spot me. i quietly, quickly snapped his neck. he didnt even have a chance to scream.
i eagerly sank my fangs into the vulnerable skin on his neck. it hurt slightly to extend them but i doubted that would last. the warm blood ran down my throat and filled every crevice of my being. it sent a simmilar thrill as before through me and suddenly, i was ravenous.
i didnt stop until every last drop had been drained. then i looked to the roof top for kurei.

I smelled a familuar scent, and frowned. That wasn't good. Why was she here? Luckily, there was also another human scent in a different direction, a little farther away, but near enough. "Head east," I instructed, nodding in that direction, "Instinct will take over after a while." I smiled warmly, to reassure her.

i took a deep breath. the scents in the air made my mouth water. "it smells sooooo good." i said and looked at kurei for further instruction.

i walked and couldn't figure out haw i had gotten lost.... again. i had a really bad feeling about were i was going and i don't usually ignore my instincts unless i'm feeling particularly stupid. and i wasn't at the moment.in fact i felt as smart as i usually did. and i had the urge to run. something told me that was a bad idea. i don't know why but i continued to walk into the alley way. i could have sworn i smelled a vampire. i could have sworn i smelled......Kurei.

I joined her on the roof, then caught the scent of a nearby human. "Smell the air," I instructed, "Your sence of smell should have grown stronger. What do you smell?" Meanwhile, I glanced around quickly, to make one hundred percent sure we were alone. I, personally, didn't want to run into other vamps right now. I didn't know how other vampires would react to a new blood.

i climbed up and then looked over the edge while he followed. the heights sent thrill through me and an evil grin spread on my face. "hey, this looks like fun." i said randomly, mostly to myself.

I led the way out into the alley, and stopped below a ladder leading to the roof. "I prefere to hunt from up high, it's easier, in a way. From up there, you can more easily see your prey, and it's harder for them to see you. Most humans don't look up when being hunted." I, then, motioned for her to head up first.

i got to my feet and felt the urge to run. i wrestled with this as i waited for him to lead the way. "thats good news. lets get the flock outta here."

I blinked, slightly surprised, when I heard her speak. I had stopped paying attention to time, while I waited. I, then, smiled, and got to my feet, holding out my hand to help her to her feet. "Alright," I started, "It's pretty dark now, so i can take you hunting."

location: some where following a friend on trhe edge of the city
time: Pre turning

i silently contemplated the catepillar in front of me wondering where he was. i had heard a noise earlyer and went to investigate but found nothing. i stood still cursing at the tree branch that had fallen and dislocated my sholder. what was even worse though was the fact that i couldn't fix it on my own. i would have to find Kurei soon so he could help me. he was the only one i trusted enough to do such a job and that was saying something seeing as i never trusted anyone more than i had to and i never trusted fully. which was probly why i didn't trust the one i saw with him when i found him. my arm hung limply and painfully at my side as i stepped out of the trees. " pardon me. sorry to interupt if this is something important. but i was ....."
i paused wondering what i was about to say when i caught sight of somthing to kurei's left. an elk. a beautiful six pionted was senting the wind and i have to say, it was the most magnificent thing i had ever seen. " look..." i whispered softly.

im not sure how long i was out but when i awoke, i felt in increadibly strong pull in the pit of my gut which my mind told me meant i was hungry. i carefully lifted my head. "Kurei, im thirsty."

Time: pre siring

he bit her. as i stood in the shadows and watched all i could think was that there was no reason to end her life. i tried to reason with myself. she wanted this.... and, well, so do i but you don't see me looking for a vampire do you. but..... i was. i was looking. and as i watched i couldn't help but feel alone. he wouldn't be able to handle two new born vamps would he? i guess i would just have to wait. and as i did so i would haveto sleep. that's just what i did. not at all mindful of my suroundings... i lay down and fell asleep.
